Amroha Anganwadi Karyakartri Vacancy 2026 – Project-wise Details

A total of 105 Anganwadi Karyakartri posts are being filled across 7 Child Development Projects (rural and urban) in Amroha district, as shown below.

Amroha Anganwadi Karyakartri Eligibility Criteria

• Only women candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Anganwadi Karyakartri.
• The candidate must be a resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward for which the post is advertised. If no eligible candidate is available from that Gram Sabha, candidates who are permanent residents of the concerned Nyaya Panchayat may be considered.
• For posts in urban areas, the candidate must clearly mention the relevant ward number/name in the online residence certificate at the time of application.
• Preference will be given to widows/legally divorced/separated women from families living below the poverty line (BPL).
• If no BPL widow/divorced/separated woman is available from that Gram Sabha/Ward, then a widow/separated/divorced woman above the poverty line from the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be given preference in selection.
• If no such candidate is available as per the above priority order, selection will proceed based on merit as per educational qualification, following the provisions of the applicable government order.
• Two women from the same family will not be appointed as Anganwadi Karyakartri and Sahayika (helper) at the same Anganwadi Centre.

Amroha Anganwadi Karyakartri Qualification

• The minimum educational qualification is Intermediate (Class 12) or its equivalent.
• Higher educational qualification, up to postgraduate level, will be given preference and the merit list will be prepared based on educational attainment.

Amroha Anganwadi Karyakartri Age Limit

As on 01.07.2026, the applicant’s age should be between a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years. The date of birth recorded in the High School marksheet/certificate will be considered valid for age determination.

• Selection is made through a merit list prepared based on the educational qualification of eligible candidates from the concerned Gram Sabha/Ward/Nyaya Panchayat.
• Priority in selection is given first to BPL widow/divorced/separated women, then to above-poverty-line widow/divorced/separated women from the same area, and thereafter to other eligible candidates based on educational merit, as per the provisions of Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 dated 17 September 2025.
• If any information, data, or educational records provided in the application are found to be incorrect or fabricated, the candidature will be rejected, with the applicant solely responsible for such errors.
• The entire process of application and selection will be conducted as per the provisions of the above-mentioned Government Order.

2. Fill up the online application form in the prescribed format available on the website.
3. Carefully and correctly fill in all details in the application form.

• If any discrepancy, incorrect data, or forged educational record is found in the application, the candidature will be rejected, and the candidate will be solely responsible for it. Offline correction of any application or record will not be accepted; all uploaded documents must be clearly readable.
• Regarding income certificates: as per Social Welfare Section-2, UP Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated 14 September 2015, the annual income limit followed is Rs. 46,080 for rural areas and Rs. 56,460 for urban areas.
• Only income certificates issued by the competent authority as per UP Government Revenue Section-9 Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Ra0-9 dated 30.09.2021 (as amended), which are digitally verifiable online, will be considered valid.
• Only residence and caste certificates issued through online digital signature by the Tehsil, which are digitally verifiable, will be considered valid.
• For widow candidates, a death certificate and family register copy issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay will be accepted as proof. For divorced/separated women, a legal order issued by a competent court will be accepted.
• The number of advertised vacancies may increase, decrease, or the selection process may be stopped/restricted under special circumstances.
