Goa SSC Desktop Publishing Operator Qualification

Essential qualifications for the Goa SSC Desktop Publishing Operator post are: Higher Secondary School Certificate in any stream from a recognized Board; training by the National Council for Vocational Training in Desktop Publishing Operator, or a Certificate of successful completion of Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the trade of Desktop Publishing Operator; 3 years of experience in the field of printing and publishing; practical knowledge of Layout Programme, Word Processing Programme, and Corel Draw; a typing speed of 40 words per minute; working knowledge of Devnagri Software; and knowledge of Konkani. Desirable qualifications are experience in operation and control of essential commodities, and knowledge of Marathi.

Goa SSC LDC/ Recovery Clerk, Data Entry Operator & Junior Assistant Qualification

These three posts share a common essential qualification: Higher Secondary School Certificate from a recognized board, or an AICTE-approved Diploma from a recognized State Board of Technical Education, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; a minimum six-month Diploma/ Course Certificate in Computer from an Information Technology Knowledge Centre/ Computer Institute recognized by the Info Tech Corporation of Goa Limited (or an equivalent recognized body); a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English; at least one year of working experience (as an apprentice, or in a Government/ semi-Government organization, factory, company, hospital, recognized educational institute, cooperative bank, or a private establishment employing 5 or more persons, among other listed categories); and knowledge of Konkani. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable.

Candidates holding a Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, or Electrical and Electronics from a recognized University/ State Board of Technical Education, along with a Trade/ Course Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant from a recognized Industrial Training Institute, are exempted from producing the separate Computer Diploma Course Certificate for the LDC/ Recovery Clerk, Data Entry Operator, and Junior Assistant posts.

Goa SSC Recruitment 2026 Skill Test / Typing Test
