Educational Qualification and Experience
Candidates must satisfy either of the following qualification and experience combinations:
Option 1: Master’s Degree with Experience
- Master’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Business Studies or Public Administration from a recognized university or institution.
- One year of experience in handling stores and maintaining store accounts.
Option 2: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma with Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Business Studies or Public Administration from a recognized university or institution; or
- Diploma in Material Management, Warehousing Management, Purchasing, Logistics or Public Procurement from a recognized university or institution.
- Two years of experience in handling stores and maintaining store accounts.

The prescribed stores and accounts experience must have been gained in any of the following:
- Central Government organization
- State Government organization
- Statutory or autonomous organization
- Public Sector Undertaking
- University or recognized institution
- Bank
- Private-sector organization listed on an Indian stock exchange
