Lakshmipathi Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (ALRARI), Chennai has announced a walk-in interview for the post of Yoga Therapist on a contract basis under the project titled “Feasibility of Integrating a Yoga Regimen into Ayurveda Treatment-as-Usual (TAU) for Selected Musculoskeletal Conditions: A Multicentric Health Systems Implementation Study in CCRAS Institutes”. Desirable Qualification

• Working experience in traditional Yoga Therapy from an Institute of national repute/ Hospital.
• Knowledge of Computer Operation.
• Working Knowledge of Tamil, Hindi, English and Sanskrit languages.
• Working Experience in research projects related to Yoga Therapy, case studies etc.
• Fluency in English.

ALRARI Age Limit

Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years. Age limit is relaxable in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per instructions of Govt. of India issued from time to time.

ALRARI Yoga Therapist Salary

The remuneration is consolidated at Rs. 38,000/- per month. The notification does not mention any additional allowances or benefits.

ALRARI Selection Process

The selection process consists of a screening committee check, skill test (demonstration skills in Yoga practices), and interview.

Walk-In Interview and Screening

Candidates fulfilling the essential qualifications must report for the walk-in interview on the designated date with a duly filled in bio-data form, one passport size photograph, and original certificates with one set of self-attested relevant certificates. Candidates should report to the Screening Committee in VC room of ALRARI, Chennai between 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Candidates arriving after 10:00 AM will not be considered.

How to Apply for ALRARI Yoga Therapist

1. Download the format for submission of bio-data from the Council’s website via the Application Form link.
2. Fill out the bio-data form completely.
3. Attach a new passport-size photograph to the designated space on the form.
4. Gather your original certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates.
5. Report in person to the Screening Committee in the VC room of ALRARI, Chennai on 17 October 2026 between 09:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

ALRARI Important Instructions

• The engagement is purely on a contractual basis for approximately 9 months or till completion of project or curtailed at the discretion of the competent authority.
• There will be no right to claim for continuation or regular appointment.
• No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
• The candidate needs to complete the YCB certificate Course (Level-II) within 3 months of joining, in case he is not having at present.
• The selected candidate will have to submit an undertaking in the non-judicial stamp paper along with the joining report at the time of their joining.
• The selection committee has the right to select or reject application of candidate without assigning any reason there off.
• The Assistant Director-In-Charge, Dr.ALRARI, Chennai reserves the rights to postpone or cancel the test and interview, without assigning any reason there off.
