Pay and Tenure
The positions are purely contractual under an ICMR-funded extramural research project for a duration of 3 years. The initial contract is valid for a period of 6 months or until project completion, whichever is earlier, and is renewable annually based on performance. Remuneration consists of a consolidated monthly pay along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) at 10% (₹5,600 for Project Research Scientist-I; ₹2,800 for Technical Support-III; ₹2,000 for Technical Support-II; and ₹1,800 for Technical Support-I). Only consolidated salary and specified HRA are admissible; no additional allowances or facilities are provided.
