Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) has invited online applications for 10 ITI Apprentice vacancies across Electrician, Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, and Welder trades on a contract basis. The one-year apprenticeship training offers a stipend of Rs. 10,560 – 11,040 by post. Candidates possessing an ITI qualification in the relevant discipline can apply online through the prescribed apprenticeship portal. The last date to apply is 30 October 2026. Selection is based on shortlisting according to marks obtained in ITI and High School, followed by document verification, for positions located in Bargi Nagar, Jabalpur.

Who Can Apply

Qualification

Candidates must have passed ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant subject from government or non-government industrial training institutes, along with High School (10th standard) qualification.

Age

The minimum age of candidates must be 18 years as of 01/01/2026. The maximum age limit for general category candidates is 27 years. For Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer), an age relaxation of 05 years is applicable, and for Divyang (PwD) candidates, a relaxation of 10 years is applicable.

Who Cannot Apply

Candidates who have already been registered for or undergone apprenticeship training previously in any establishment, or those who are not native residents of Madhya Pradesh, are not eligible to apply.

Reservation

Reservation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and PwD candidates as per the amended rules of 2019 of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Stipend and Training Period

The duration of the apprenticeship training is one year. No additional allowances or benefits are admissible.

How to Apply for MPPGCL ITI Apprentice

1. Visit the official apprenticeship portal at www.apprenticeship.gov.in and click on Apprentices Menu to register.
2. Fill in personal details (Name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Gender, DOB, Aadhaar number, Category) matching your Aadhaar card, and enter contact details to obtain an email ID and password.
3. Complete the qualification section by adding Technical and Educational details, select your trade preferences in the Preference section, and upload your photo, birth certificate, and signature in the fourth stage.
4. Review your entered information on the final page, click Edit if changes are needed, and click Confirm to complete the registration.
5. Log in using your registered E-mail ID and password, go to Establishment Search under Establishment Menu, search for the establishment “2×45 Megavatrani Awanti Bai Sagar Jal Vidyut Grih Bargi Nagar Jabalpur”, click Apply, and submit your application with your registration number and date of birth.

Selection Process

Applications received in response to the advertisement will be shortlisted. Selection will be made in order of merit based on the percentage of marks obtained in ITI (semester average) and High School. Candidates with higher age will be given priority in case of equal marks.
