Who Can Apply

Candidates must fulfill the essential educational qualification and experience requirements to be eligible for the University Librarian position.

• Essential Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science from a recognized University/Educational Institution.
• Essential Experience: Retired Librarians from National level Educational Institutions/State Universities with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as Deputy librarian and/or above.
• Age Limit: Should not exceed 62 years as on the last date for submission of application. Age relaxation is not eligible.

Pay and Tenure

The position carries a consolidated remuneration ranging from Rs. 60,000/- to 80,000/- per month, determined based on experience. The appointment is initially for a period of one year on a contract basis, which is extendable based on performance and requirements.
