Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) has announced vacancy for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) post on a deputation basis for up to 5 years, or till attaining superannuation or repatriation, whichever is earlier. Eligible candidates must be serving in the State Government or State Public Sector Undertaking, holding the rank of Special Secretary, Executive Director, Chief General Manager or equivalent in Pay Matrix Level-17 for a minimum of 5 years. Applicants must not be more than 60 years of age as on the closing date. The pay is Pay Matrix Level-17 or equivalent. Candidates must apply offline by submitting the prescribed application form with supporting documents by speed post or by hand to the Office of OREDA Limited on or before 16 October 2026.

Who Can Apply

• Must be serving in the State Government or a State Public Sector Undertaking.
• Must have held the rank of Special Secretary, Executive Director, Chief General Manager or equivalent, in Pay Matrix Level-17 or equivalent, for a minimum period of 5 years.
• Must possess at least 30 years of professional experience.
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience in project approval, land acquisition and execution of large infrastructure / renewable energy projects, with adequate knowledge of applicable statutory and regulatory clearances.
• Must not be more than 60 years of age as on the closing date of application.

Desirable: Candidates having an Engineering background with MBA qualification will be preferred.

Pay and Terms

The selected officer shall be appointed on deputation basis from eligible officers of the Government of Odisha or State Public Sector Undertakings. The pay is in Pay Matrix Level-17 or equivalent. The period of deputation shall be up to 5 years, or till attaining the age of superannuation, or repatriation by the parent organisation, whichever is earlier, subject to applicable rules and terms of deputation.

Selection Process
