Sindhudurg District has notified 15 contractual vacancies for the Mahsul Sevak (Kotwal) post on a purely temporary and ad-hoc basis, open only to local residents of the respective taluka. The post carries a consolidated pay of Rs. 15,000 per month. Eligible candidates can apply offline from 2 October 2026 to 17 October 2026 at 6:15 PM by collecting the prescribed form by paying Rs. 50 cash and submitting the completed form in person at the respective Tehsildar Office Devgad, Kankavli or Vaibhavwadi. The selection process consists of a Written Test, Document Verification, and Merit List, with the written exam scheduled for 15 November 2026.

Application Fee

The application form costs Rs. 50/- payable in cash at the Tehsildar office. Examination fees are Rs. 200/- for reserved categories and Rs. 300/- for other candidates, non-refundable, paid along with the application as per notification guidelines.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection process comprises a written examination followed by document verification and preparation of a merit list.

The written exam consists of objective multiple-choice questions (50 questions for 100 marks). There is no negative marking. Candidates must secure a minimum of 40 marks to pass.

1. Obtain the prescribed application form from the respective Tehsildar Office (Devgad, Kankavli, or Vaibhavwadi) by paying Rs. 50/- in cash between 02.10.2026 and 17.10.2026 (up to 06:15 PM).
2. Fill out the application form completely with accurate details and attach self-attested copies of required educational, age, domicile, and caste certificates along with a passport-size photograph pasted on the form.
3. Submit the completed application form in person at the respective Tehsildar Office on all working days (including 17.10.2026 despite it being a government holiday). Applications sent via post, courier, or email will not be accepted.
