Employees’ State Insurance Corporation Hospital Sahibabad (ESIC Hospital Sahibabad) is conducting a walk-in interview to fill 41 vacancies for Super Specialist (Medicine Oncology), Specialist, and Senior Resident posts on a contract basis. Eligible candidates can attend the walk-in interviews on 26 October 2026 and 27 October 2026, reporting at 10:00 AM at ESIC Hospital, Sahibabad. The notified remuneration is Rs. 2,00,000 per month for the Super Specialist (Medicine Oncology) post, while Specialist and Senior Resident positions are placed at Level-11 as per 7th CPC. Candidates must bring their completed bio-data with a recent passport-size photograph along with original documents and photocopies to the interview venue.

• Provide specialized medical, surgical, or super-specialty care to patients at ESIC Hospital Sahibabad.
• Participate in 24*7 on-call duties as required by the hospital administration.
• Supervise resident doctors, manage emergency cases, and maintain clinical records as per hospital standards.
• Comply with professional indemnity and institutional protocols while rendering medical services.

Posts and Eligibility

1. Super Specialist (Full Time / Part Time)

• Vacancies: 1 post (Medicine Oncology: OBC-1, UR-0, SC-0, ST-0, EWS-0). Total = 1.
• Qualification: MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/DNB in concerned Super Specialty from MCI recognized Medical College, with 3 years of experience. In case of holders of DM/MCh qualification of five years duration, the period of senior PG residency rendered in the last part of the said DM/MCh shall be counted towards requirements of 3 years’ experience.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 69 Years as on date of Interview date (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per Rules).
• Tenure: One year on contract or till regular incumbent joins, extendable for a further period of 2 more years based on satisfactory performance.
• Pay / Emoluments: Full Time: Rs. 2,00,000/- per month. Part Time: Rs. 100,000/- fixed remuneration (16 hrs/week), Rs. 20,000/- for emergency visit, Rs. 1200/- for every additional hour beyond 16 hrs/week.

2. Full Time Contractual Specialist

• Vacancies: Total = 11 posts (Anesthesia-2, ICU-1, Chest-1, Medicine-2, A&E-2, Obstetrics & Gynaecology-1, Radiology-1, Eye-1). Category breakdown: UR-4, OBC-4, SC-2, ST-0, EWS-1.
• Qualification: MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma in concerned specialty from a recognized university with 3 years’ experience in a responsible position connected with the specialty after acquiring the PG degree or 5 years’ experience after acquiring the PG Diploma (For Full-Time); PG Degree or Diploma with 3 years’ experience after PG Degree or 5 years after Diploma (For Part-Time).
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 69 Years as on date of Interview date (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per Rules).
• Tenure: One year on contract or till regular incumbent joins, extendable for 2 more years.
• Pay / Emoluments: Level-11 as per 7th CPC + Other allowances as admissible under the rule, per month (For Full-Time); Rs. 60,000/- per month with Rs. 15,000/- for emergency visits if willing (For Part-Time).

3. Senior Residents under Residency Scheme

• Vacancies: Total = 29 posts (Anaesthesia-5, Chest-1, Eye-1, Medicine-2, Obstetrics & Gynaecology-3, Orthopaedics-1, Pathology-1, Paediatrics-2, Radiology-2, Surgery-3, Medical Oncology-2, ICU-2, NICU-4). Category breakdown: UR-7, OBC-7, SC-7, ST-3, EWS-5.
• Qualification: MBBS with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma or equivalent as per residency scheme in concerned specialty from recognized University/Institution. If PG degree/diploma doctors are not available, MBBS doctors without PG degree but with two years of experience (1 year in concerned specialty from government/private hospital) may be appointed for 01 year on contract basis.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on date of Interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per Rules).
• Tenure: 3 years under Residency Scheme with annual evaluation.
• Pay / Emoluments: Level-11 as per 7th CPC + Other allowances as admissible under the rule, per month. Deductions: Rs. 1350/- if SR possesses only diploma degree; Rs. 2250/- if SR does not possess PG degree.

Application Fee

The application fee must be paid via Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of “ESI Fund Account No. 1” payable on any scheduled bank, to be submitted at the time of document verification cum walk-in interview. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

• Completed Bio-Data form downloaded from the ESIC website with a recent passport-size photograph affixed.
• Original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies of testimonials.
• Matriculation (10th) certificate as proof of date of birth.
• MBBS degree certificate, attempt certificate, and mark sheets.
• PG Degree / Diploma / DM / MCh / DNB certificate and attempt certificate.
• Internship completion certificate.
• MCI / State Medical Council registration certificate.
• Experience certificates (if applicable).
• Caste certificate in prescribed format of Govt. of India (OBC certificate issued within 1 year prior to interview date; EWS certificate as per DoPT OM dated 31.01.2019).
• Disability certificate (if 40% or more relevant disability) from any Govt. Hospital.
• NOC from current employer if working in Govt. establishments.
• Aadhaar Card and PAN Card.
• Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- (if applicable).

What Happens on the Day

Candidates must report to the office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP on the scheduled walk-in interview dates at 10:00 AM sharp. Document verification using original certificates will be conducted up to 11:30 AM (no candidate will be entertained after 11:00 AM). Eligible candidates will then proceed to the interview process conducted by the selection committee.

Important Instructions

• Applications should be submitted for each post separately along with the requisite fee.
• Candidates must be registered with MCI or UP State Medical Council before joining the post if selected.
• Selected contractual Super Specialists and Specialists are required to maintain a professional indemnity policy covering professional liability with a minimum sum assured ranging from Rs. 10,00,000 to Rs. 30,00,000 depending on the specialty.
• PC-PNDT registration is mandatory for candidates applying for the Radiology Department wherever applicable.
• Candidates who have completed 3 years tenure as Senior Resident in Govt. Institutions need not apply.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview, and candidates must make their own stay arrangements.
• The number of posts may increase or decrease at the discretion of the Medical Superintendent.
