Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) is recruiting candidates for 1 Project Research Scientist I post on a project-based engagement. Applicants must hold a Master’s or PhD Degree in Materials Science, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Lifesciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or other medical or life science related subjects, with or without GATE/NET/CSIR-UGC, etc. qualifying exam. Candidates must not be more than 30 years as on closing date of application, and the pay is Rs. 56,000 + 10% HRA /month for a tenure of three years or up to the termination of project, subject to annual performance review. Who Can Apply

Candidates must possess a Master’s or PhD Degree in Materials Science, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Lifesciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or other medical or life science related subjects. • Working knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Hands on experience in a wet-lab environment

• Prior clinical interactions or industry experience (preferable)

Pay and Tenure

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 56,000/- plus 10% HRA per month as per ICMR norms. The appointment is for a duration of three years or up to the termination of the project, subject to annual performance review. Candidates may also be considered for alternative opportunities based on their performance on the project.
