Qualification and Experience

All Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Super-Specialty degrees must be recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It is mandatory for all candidates selected and appointed to HBCH/MPMMCC, Varanasi, to be registered with the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council, as applicable. Candidates whose results are awaited may apply, but they must produce proof of passing the required degree at the time of the MCQ/Interview.

Pay and Terms

The advertised posts are tenured based positions for a fixed period of up to one year, which is further extendable subject to the requirements of the centre. Selected candidates are also required to pay a security/caution deposit as follows: Senior Resident I (Rs. 1,33,623/-), Senior Resident II (Rs. 1,36,269/-), Senior Resident III (Rs. 1,40,238/-), and Junior Resident III (Rs. 1,17,747/-).

The application fee shall be paid online using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. The fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Selection Process

The selection process includes an MCQ Examination which may be conducted before the interview for shortlisting purposes. The Dean (Academics), HBCH/MPMMCC, Varanasi, holds the discretion to decide. The decision of the Dean (Academics), HBCH/MPMMCC, Varanasi, shall be final.

Important Instructions

• No TA/DA (Travel Allowance / Dearness Allowance) is admissible for candidates appearing for the MCQ test or interview.
