About NSIL

NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) is a Government of India company under the Department of Space (DOS). It was incorporated in March 2019 to provide space-related products and services and to help Indian industry grow in technologically challenging space activities. Who Can Apply

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. The post is Un-Reserved (UR). Where no reservation exists for a category, candidates from that category may apply for the unreserved post if they meet its minimum eligibility criteria.

Rules on qualifications:

• All qualifications should be from a University/Institute recognised by the Government of India. Courses should be approved by an AICTE/UGC-approved college/Institute or a recognised University.
• You can apply with a qualification earned through distance learning or part-time study, as long as the relevant statutory bodies recognise it for employment to Central Government posts and services. Equivalence is decided on the equivalent certificate provided by the University/Institution.
• If your qualifying degree does not mention the specialisation that the essential qualification requires, you must submit a certificate from your University/Institution/College that shows the specialisation.
• The date the result is declared or the mark sheet is issued counts as the date you acquired the qualification, and there is no relaxation on this point.

Post Qualification Experience

You need 16 years of post-qualification experience in Accounts and Finance. At least 2 of those years must be in the immediate lower grade/scale of IDA: 70,000 – 3% – 2,00,000, or the equivalent level in the private sector (Rs. 15 lacs p.a. CTC). Experience is preferably in a PSU, aerospace/Joint ventures of PSEs/Central Govt/State Govt/Private Sector. You should also be proficient in ERP-based accounting systems and financial software.

How NSIL counts experience:

• Internships or project work placements that were part of your course do not count.
• Only paid internships done after you obtained the minimum essential qualification count as relevant post-qualification experience.
• One completed year of apprenticeship under the PM Internship program counts as experience.
• Teaching experience does not count as relevant work experience.
• Work done before you completed the minimum essential qualification does not count.
• Experience certificates or documentary evidence from your previous and present employers must clearly show the period of employment and the positions held. Experience without supporting documents will not be considered, and NSIL’s decision on the relevance of experience is final.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The upper age limit is 48 years as on the closing date, 25 November 2026. The cut-off date for age, minimum post-qualification experience and qualification is also 25 November 2026.

Pay and Tenure

The Chief Manager – Accounts & Finance post is in Grade E5, with a pay scale of Rs.80,000 – 3% – 2,20,000/- under the IDA pattern. Total Emoluments & Allowances include:

• Basic Pay in the pay scale
• Dearness Allowance
• House Rent Allowance (at the rates that apply at the place of posting)
• Cafeteria Allowance, etc.

Officials can also use the Group Health Schemes that the company has adopted. The appointment is on a regular basis. You must be willing to be posted anywhere in India where NSIL has an office, and to travel across India as required.

The key responsibilities of the Chief Manager – Accounts & Finance are:

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with government financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies such as CAG, GST authorities, and other financial auditors.
• Provide leadership in investment planning and risk assessment, and lead a team so that the department functions efficiently.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Support management in financial decision-making through in-depth financial analysis and reports.
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and government agencies for financial transactions.

How to Apply for NSIL Recruitment 2026

1. Apply online through the QR code printed in the official notification by 25 November 2026, 6:00 PM. No other mode of application is accepted.
2. Enter all details in the online application form carefully and check them before you submit. Changes are not allowed after submission, and the date of birth and category cannot be changed once entered.
3. Give an e-mail ID, phone number and address that will stay valid for at least one year from 25 November 2026. The e-mail ID cannot be changed after you register, and NSIL will use it for all future correspondence.
4. Get a Demand Draft for Rs. 590/- (Rs. 500/- + 18% GST) in favour of NewSpace India limited (NSIL), drawn at Bangalore. Women / SC / ST / PWD candidates are exempted from the fee.
5. Attach the documents listed below to the hard copy of the online application form.
6. Write “name of post applied ____” on the top of the envelope. This is mandatory.
7. Send the hard copy, documents and Demand Draft by registered post/speed post/courier to: Deputy General Manager-HR & Administration, NewSpace India Limited, 11th floor, Brigade Rubix, 20, watch Factory Road, Phase-1, Yashwanthpur, Bengaluru- 560013. It must reach the office by 30 November 2026, 6:00 PM. Hard copies that arrive late, or that are delivered by hand, will not be considered.

Documents named in the notice

• Duly filled in Online Application Form
• Recent passport size photographs (the Hindi text says 2)
• Self-attested copy of SSLC/Matriculation certificate (as proof of date of birth)
• Self-attested copy of PUC/12th Class/Diploma Marks Card
• Self-attested copies of Degree Certificate, all semester Marks Sheets/Final consolidated marks sheet. If your university uses CGPA or credits, attach the formula for converting CGPA/Credits to percentage under that University’s norms.
• Self-attested copies of Provisional/Final Degree Certificate
• Caste/Community/Disability/Economic Weaker Section Status Certificate in the prescribed format for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS candidates. OBC and EWS candidates must produce a certificate issued on or after 25.11.2025.
• Post-qualification work experience certificate(s) from previous/current employers that clearly show the service dates. If you cannot produce proof of current employment, you must attach the offer of current appointment, your employee ID proof and your latest pay slip.

Selection and Interview

NSIL will select through a written test and/or interview, on a schedule it will announce. Screening and selection are based on the details you give in the application form. The final selection is made in order of merit, based on your performance in the written test and/or interview.

• Meeting the minimum qualification and experience does not give you a right to be called for the interview.
• You may need to stay an additional day for the selection process.
• Travelling expenses/allowance for attending the written test and/or interview are paid as per the Company norms.

Important Instructions

• If you do not meet the essential eligibility criteria, you will be treated as debarred ab-initio at any stage. Incomplete applications, or applications without the required documents, will be rejected.
• Wrong, false or incomplete information leads to disqualification. Services can be terminated without notice if a shortcoming is found even after appointment.
• If you work in a Government Department, PSU or Autonomous Body, you must submit a relieving letter from your current organisation at the time of joining.
• Appointment depends on a medical fitness certificate, submitted at joining, from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Civil Surgeon/Assistant Surgeon. There is no relaxation in health standards.
• Anyone convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude cannot be appointed. Nor can anyone previously dismissed, removed or compulsorily retired from the service of a Corporation, a state or central government department, a local authority or an autonomous statutory body.
• Character and Antecedent verification will be conducted as per NSIL guidelines. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
• NSIL management reserves the right to increase or decrease the vacancies, and to cancel, restrict, curtail, enlarge, modify or alter the recruitment/selection process or this advertisement without giving a reason.
• The application fee, once paid, will not be refunded. NSIL does not charge any other fee or ask for money deposits at any stage of the recruitment.
