It ends with a signed declaration that the information is true, and that the engagement is liable to be terminated summarily without notice or compensation if any information is found incorrect or concealed.

Educational Qualification (from a recognised university)

• Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at graduation level; OR
• Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a subject at graduation level; OR
• Master’s degree in both Hindi and English; OR
• Bachelor’s degree with English and Hindi as main subjects.

Experience

At least 02 years of English-Hindi and Hindi-English translation experience is essential.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 35 years as on 30/10/2026, as per the rules of the BHEL Fixed Tenure Appointment (FTA) policy. Relaxation in the maximum age limit is as per the existing rules of the Government of India and BHEL:

Pay and Tenure

• Tenure: appointment for 2 years or till completion of the work, whichever is earlier.
• The appointment is purely on a temporary basis for the initial two years or till completion of the work (whichever is earlier).
• Either side must give one month’s notice to end the appointment.
• Working hours: at most eight (8) hours a day and six (6) days a week, as per the unit’s fixed working days.
• Leave: one day of leave for every 20 days of work.
• Medical benefit, accident insurance and accommodation: payable as per the applicable BHEL FTA policy/guidelines and Corporate Office directions.

Enclosures

Self-attested scanned photocopies of these documents go with the emailed form; the originals must be shown at the interview:

1. Proof of date of birth – SSC / Intermediate certificate
2. Graduation certificate with marks list
3. Post-graduation certificate with marks list

Selection Process

Selection is through an interview of eligible candidates.

• The interview will be held at BHEL CFP Rudrapur in the first week of December 2026.
• If more than 10 applications are received, applications will be screened on the merit of total marks obtained in graduation, and at most 10 candidates will be shortlisted for the interview.
• If two candidates have equal marks at graduation level, the candidate with higher marks in the Hindi subject will be given preference.
• Applicants who meet the prescribed criteria will be called to BHEL Rudrapur, and the information will be sent separately by email.
• Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the interview.

• A self-declaration on character and background is required at the time of joining.
• No relaxation will be given in health standards under the clinical/medical joining norms. The selected candidate must show a medical fitness certificate from an authorised medical officer in the prescribed format.
• This appointment will not give any right to regular employment in BHEL.
• BHEL has the full right to reschedule, cancel, suspend or end this process, and to change the rules, without giving any reason. The management’s decision will be final.
