The Indian Army has released the Sports Quota Recruitment Notification on 04/2025 for the posts of Havildar and Naib Subedar through direct entry. This recruitment is open to unmarried Indian male and female sportspersons who have demonstrated outstanding performance in recognized sports events.

- Application Start Date: 15 May 2025
- Application End Date: 15 June 2025 (by 1700 hrs)
- Application Mode: Offline submission to the Army Sports Control Board (Placement Store, Facebook, Free Job Alert)
🏅 Eligible Sports Disciplines
Candidates who have participated in recognized competitions from 01 April 2023 onwards are eligible. The disciplines include:(Join Indian Army)
- Athletics (Men): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 20km Race Walk, Decathlon, High Jump, Long Jump, Javelin Throw, Shot Put, etc.
- Archery (Men): Compound & Recurve
- Basketball (Men): Post Player, Forward, Point Guard
- Boxing (Men): All Weight Categories
- Diving (Men): Springboard & Highboard
- Football (Men): Striker, Midfielder
- Fencing (Men): Epee, Foil, Sabre
- Gymnastics (Artistic) (Men): All Rounder
- Hockey (Men): Forward, Midfielder
- Handball (Men): Various positions
- Judo (Men): 90kg & 100kg
- Kayaking & Canoeing (Men): Canoe Sprint
- Kabaddi (Men): Raider, Cover, Corner

📋 Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 17½ to 25 years (Born between 30 Sep 2000 and 01 Oct 2007)
- Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th pass (Matriculation)
- Marital Status: Unmarried
- Sports Achievements:
- Havildar: Participation in International/Junior or Senior National Championships, Khelo India Games, Youth Games, or University Games.
- Naib Subedar: Medalist in World Championships, Asian Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, World Cup, or representation in Olympics. (Dyarakotiuk)
