TSLPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2026: Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has released the recruitment notification for 7,112 vacancies for SCT Police Constable (Civil), SCT Police Constable (AR), SCT Police Constable (SAR CPL), SCT Constable in Special Protection Force, Fire Fighter, Warder (Male) and Warder (Female) posts.

Candidates who have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination can apply subject to satisfying the prescribed age, physical, medical and other eligibility conditions. The pay scale for the notified posts is Rs. 24,280-72,850.

 The application process will be conducted online through the TSLPRB website. The online application process will start on 19 August 2026 and the last date to submit the online application is 09 September 2026.

A total of 7,112 vacancies have been notified under TSLPRB Recruitment 2026. The vacancies are distributed among the Telangana Police Department, Telangana Special Protection Force Department, Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency and Civil Defence Department, and Telangana Prisons & Correctional Services Department.

TSLPRB Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates interested in TSLPRB Police Constable Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the educational qualification, age, gender, physical and other eligibility requirements applicable to their selected post.

TSLPRB Police Constable Qualification 2026

Candidates must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as on 29 July 2026.

Candidates possessing qualifications higher than the prescribed Intermediate qualification will also be considered on par with candidates possessing the required qualification.

For Post Code 26 – Fire Fighter, candidates must additionally possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving licence as on the date of notification.

TSLPRB Police Constable Age Limit 2026

For Post Codes 21 to 23, 25, 26, 27 and 28, the prescribed basic age requirement is 18 to below 22 years as on 01 July 2026.

However, the Government of Telangana has provided an additional relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for direct recruitment to uniformed services, including Police, Fire Services, Prisons and Special Protection Force Departments.

Further category-wise and special-category age relaxations apply as prescribed in the official notification. Candidates should check the age conditions applicable to their category before applying.

The notified posts carry a pay scale of Rs. 24,280-72,850.

TSLPRB Police Constable Application Fee 2026

The application fee amount will be determined through the TSLPRB online application system based on the post or posts selected by the candidate.

OC and BC candidates with Telangana local status have to pay the fee designated in the online application. Local SC and ST candidates of Telangana will pay the applicable concessional fee. Other candidates must pay the fee designated by the online application system.

Candidates applying for multiple eligible posts may receive the applicable fee rebate as prescribed in the notification.

The application fee can be paid using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or other payment methods made available on the TSLPRB website. Fee once paid will not be refunded.

TSLPRB Police Constable Selection Process 2026

The TSLPRB Police Constable selection process includes written examinations, physical tests and certificate verification. Candidates must qualify at the applicable stages of the recruitment process.

1. Preliminary Written Test (PWT)

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
4. Final Written Examination (FWE)

TSLPRB Police Constable Preliminary Written Test

All eligible registered candidates have to appear for the Preliminary Written Test (PWT).

The minimum qualifying marks in the Preliminary Written Test are 30% for OC including EWS, 25% for BC and 20% for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Home Guard candidates.

The PWT also carries negative marking. In cases other than a single correct response or an unanswered question, 20% of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as prescribed in the notification.

TSLPRB Police Constable PMT and PET

Candidates qualifying in the Preliminary Written Test will proceed to the applicable Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Candidates should carefully check the post-wise and gender-wise physical standards and PET requirements prescribed in the official notification before applying.

TSLPRB Police Constable Final Written Examination

Candidates who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test will be required to appear for the Final Written Examination (FWE). The examination consists of one paper of three hours duration.

The minimum qualifying marks in the Final Written Examination are 40% for OC including EWS, 35% for BC and 30% for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
