Who Can Apply for CARI Recruitment 2026?

Other conditions:

• Young Professional must be registered in State/Central board.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Desirable:

• Consultant: Knowledge of Sanskrit language and editing, and publication of Classical Ayurvedic Books.
• Consultant: Skill in drafting and editing research proposals, technical reports, books and articles.
• Consultant: Knowledge of computer applications like MS Office.
• Consultant: Work experience in research projects funded by Ministry of Ayush, ICMR, DST or other Govt. of India organisation.
• SRF: Preference to higher qualification or previous research project experience under Ministry of Ayush, ICMR, CSIR, DST or equivalent.

Post-wise Details

Consultant (Ayurveda) (3 posts)

Qualification required: MD/MS (Ayurveda) from a recognized University with minimum 5 years work experience; BAMS from a recognized University with minimum 7 years work experience. Experience required: 5 years (MD/MS) or 7 years (BAMS). Age limit: Maximum 45 years. Pay: Rs.60,000 per month consolidated.

Young Professional (4 posts)

Qualification required: Graduate degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University and registered in State/Central board. Age limit: Maximum 40 years. Pay: Rs.50,000 per month.

SRF (Ayurveda) (1 post)

Qualification required: BAMS from a recognized University. Age limit: Maximum 35 years. Pay: Rs.42,000 + HRA as admissible.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Engagement is initially for one year, which may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
• Engagement is purely contractual and co-terminus with the completion or duration of the project, or until regular staff is posted, whichever is earlier.
• No claim for continuation of service or regular appointment will be entertained.
