Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Graduate degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution of repute.
• Experience: 15 years of experience in large public utilities specializing in electricity generation, transmission and distribution or in electricity regulatory sector. Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR 02 years regular service in the Pay Level-13 A or equivalent OR 03 years regular service in the Pay Level-13 or equivalent.
• Age limit: Maximum 56 years (as on last date of Submission of Application)

Other conditions:

• The mode of appointment is deputation from Central/State/UT Government Departments, Statutory/Autonomous/Constitutional/Cooperative/Local Government bodies and Public Sector Undertakings, Corporations etc.

Desirable:

• Post graduate degree or diploma/MBA in Finance from a recognized university/institute of repute.
• Experience in development of electricity tariff, commercial issues and power purchase agreements.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• The deputation shall be for a period upto 03 years initially, which may be extended as per deputation rules.
