All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna (AIIMS Patna) is recruiting candidates for 6 vacancies comprising Manifold Technician (Gas Steward) and Senior Plumber posts on a deputation basis. Qualifications and pay levels vary by post, with the Manifold Technician post carrying Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300) and the Senior Plumber post carrying Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100). Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Eligibility and Qualification Details:

• Manifold Technician (Gas Steward): Officials holding analogous post in Government Organization or holding post with five years of relevant experience in the grade pay of Rs. 2400/-. Essential qualification: 10+2 in Science with 7 years’ experience in Medical Gas Pipeline System in a minimum 200 bedded Govt. Hospital; OR Trade Certificate or ITI Diploma in Mechanical Engg. with 5 years’ experience in Medical Gas Pipeline System in a minimum 200 bedded Hospital.
• Senior Plumber: Officers under the Central/State Governments, UT Administration or of Central Statutory/ Autonomous Bodies, Holding analogous post or with 8 years regular service as plumber in the grade Rs. 1900/-.
• Age Limit: Maximum age limit for applying for the aforesaid posts on deputation is 56 years as on the last date of posting of application.

• Duly attested photocopies of up to date Confidential Reports / APAR (at least for the latest 05 years)
• Vigilance Clearance and Integrity Certificate
• Comparative chart regarding Pay Scale granted to the official with Central Government pay scale, duly certified by their Finance/Accounts Department (for candidates not following Central Government Pay Scales)

Selection Process

The selection process is regulated as per the relevant Recruitment Rules/DoPT instructions. It includes scrutiny of applications, verification of up-to-date Confidential Reports or APAR for the latest 5 years, and receipt of Vigilance Clearance. Maximum age limit is 56 years as on the last date of posting of application. The period of deputation will be for a period of three (3) years and extendable for a maximum period of five years as per DoPT guidelines.
