Directorate of Education Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

• Lecturer (Curriculum/ Material Development & Evaluation): Master’s degree in Humanities/ Social Sciences/ Sciences with M.Ed. specialization in Curriculum and/ or Evaluation OR Master’s in Child Psychology/ Child Development/ Education with Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Teacher Education OR Ph.D. in relevant field. 3 years teaching experience in school/ TEI. Knowledge of English/ Gujarati/ Marathi/ Hindi and computer literacy.
• Lecturer (District Resource Unit For Adult Education/ Non-Formal Education (DRU For AE/ NFE)): Master’s degree in Humanities/ Social Sciences/ Sciences with PG/ Degree/ Diploma in Adult Education/ NFE or Social Work/ MSW or Community Development or Rural Development or Women’s Studies or Communication or Journalism OR Degree in Teacher Education with specialization in AE/ NFE. 3 years experience in extension/ management of AE/ NFE programmes. Knowledge of English/ Gujarati/ Marathi/ Hindi and computer literacy.
