Senior Lecturer

• NCHMCT or an NCHMCT affiliated institute
• An institute approved by AICTE
• An institute approved by the State Board of Technical Education
• An institute affiliated to a university duly recognized by UGC
• A Central/State/Deemed to be University recognized by UGC
• An equivalent degree/diploma of a foreign university/institution recognized by AIU

Essential experience (either one):

• At least 10 (Ten) years of experience in teaching and hotel industry together, including minimum 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer or equivalent in an institute affiliated to NCHMCT / AICTE / State Board of Technical Education / Recognized University; OR
• At least 10 years total experience (teaching and industry together) including hotel industry experience of minimum 3 years in supervisory capacity in a 3 star / Heritage or above category approved hotel, with 3 years experience in teaching and training.

Desirable: Ph.D. Degree; research paper publication in reputed journals.

Office Superintendent

Candidates also need working knowledge of office procedures, noting and drafting, record management, establishment matters and computer applications.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The crucial date for determining the age limit is 15 November 2026. The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates and departmental candidates, and as may be prescribed by the Government of India from time to time for other eligible categories. Departmental candidates are employees working in Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) and the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida.

Pay and Terms

Both posts carry the usual allowances as admissible to Central Government employees stationed at Lucknow. The posts are non-pensionable; however, the National Pension System (NPS) shall be applicable as per Government of India rules. The Office Superintendent post is on Short Term Contract; the notice does not state the length of the contract.

Selection Process

The notice says applications are by Registered post / Speed Post only in its detailed advertisement, and asks for Speed Post in the submission clause. Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date will not be entertained, and the Institute is not responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit.
