IIT Indore Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

• Junior Research Fellow: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. Desirable: 1–2 years; skills in Python; quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit/PennyLane); machine/deep learning.
• Research Associate Provisional: Ph.D. Thesis Submitted. Desirable: 1–2 years; proficiency in Python, Qiskit/PennyLane, machine and deep learning techniques, and domain knowledge in space weather or astrophysics.
• Research Associate II: Ph.D. + 1 year of experience. Desirable: 1+ years of experience in quantum algorithms, hybrid quantum-classical models, and quantum hardware, with exposure to machine learning techniques and their applications in quantum computing.
