Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: 1st Class in MA in Computational Linguistics/Corpus Linguistics/Applied Linguistics
• Experience: Experience in NLP-related research and development work, knowledge of translation from Hindi to Bengali, Text Processing and Text Annotation, and knowledge of Bengali and Hindi grammar, lexicon, syntax, semantics, and discourse.
• Age limit: Maximum 35 years (as on 31 December 2026)
• Age relaxation: SC As per rules, ST As per rules, OBC As per rules, Differently-abled As per rules

Other conditions:

• Temporary basis on project titled ‘Vidyaapati: Bidirectional Machine Translation Involving Bengali, Konkani, Maithili, Marathi, and Hindi’

Desirable:

• Experience in working with translation software and NLP Toolkit
• Experience in evaluation of Hindi-Bengali parallel translation corpora
• Knowledge in project report preparation and research paper writing and presentation
