Who Can Apply

Candidates must meet the essential qualification requirements specified in the notification to be eligible for the post of Project Technician II.

Pay and Tenure

The consolidated remuneration is Rs. 23,600/- per month, which includes Rs. 20,000 plus 20% HRA. No other allowances are payable. The position is purely on a contract basis for an externally sponsored project funded by ICMR. The engagement has a likely duration of 6 months and is time-bound for a period of 1 year. Engaged persons will have no claim to any regular post in JIPMER at any time.

Selection and Interview

Eligible candidates will receive an email notification regarding the online screening test. Candidates applying offline or via hardcopy will not be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and/or interview. The written test consists of 80 marks at a B.Sc. level with no negative marking. The interview carries 20 marks. Interviews may be conducted in person or via videoconferencing at the discretion of the Project Investigator.
