Selection is through a walk-in interview, and the post is filled by the college’s Local Selection Committee.

Service Conditions

• The appointment is temporary and lasts one academic year, for a maximum of 9 months.
• It ends automatically after that period.
• The appointed teacher gets no rights of regular service.
• The teacher cannot later demand permanent absorption or any regular-service right.
• The teacher must work in only one college at a time. An undertaking confirming this, and that the teacher is not working in any other college, must be submitted to the institution or college on stamp paper of the minimum value under government rules.
