Panjab University Recruitment 2026 Important Conditions

• The contractual engagement will be initially for a period of 02 years, which could be further extended on the basis of performance.
• Tax deduction at source (TDS) or any other tax liable will be deducted as per prevailing rules before effecting payment.
• Performance of the selected candidates will be continuously reviewed and their extension will be considered on the basis of periodic review/requirement.
• This appointment will be on contract basis and does not confer any right to claim to permanent employment in Panjab University, Chandigarh.
• The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the contract by giving 30 days notice if performance is not found satisfactory, and may withdraw the offer at any time without assigning any reason.
• Candidates who have earlier applied as per notice no. 3656/DS dated 07.08.2025 need not be applied again.
