The Punjab School Education Department issued advertisements on 25.06.2026 to fill backlog and new vacancies in various Lecturer Cadre subjects. A public notice dated 21.08.2026 later increased the number of vacancies in the advertisements for new posts.

Written tests for Hindi, Biology, Political Science, History, Maths, English and Punjabi were held on 19.09.2026, 20.09.2026, 26.09.2026 and 27.09.2026. The results of these tests were uploaded on the department website on 19.10.2026.

How to Read the Cut-Off Table

• The cut-off marks in this notice are used to call candidates for original document scrutiny.
• “All Candidates” means every candidate in that category listed for that post is called for scrutiny, as per the notice.
• For ESM categories, “Self” and “Dependent” have separate entries. Check the row that applies to you.
• Fresh and Backlog posts have separate cut-off tables, so check the table for the advertisement you applied under.

Cut-Off for Other Subjects (Political Science, History, Maths, English, Punjabi)

Written tests were also held for Political Science, History, Maths, English and Punjabi. This notice does not give cut-off marks for these subjects. Candidates should wait for a separate official notice.

Documents Required for Punjab Lecturer Document Scrutiny

As per the official notice, candidates must bring the following to scrutiny:

1. All original documents.
2. Self-attested photocopies of all documents.
3. Four passport-size photographs.
4. A copy of the online application form submitted for the recruitment.

The notice does not give a document-wise checklist (such as certificates for specific categories). Check the original advertisement for the full list.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Report on 23.10.2026 between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM at the Recruitment Directorate office, Sector-60, Phase 3B2, SAS Nagar (Mohali).
• If you applied for both Fresh and Backlog posts, submit two separate files, one for each.
• If you submit only one file, it will be considered only for the posts for which scrutiny is done. You will be treated as absent for the posts of the other advertisement.
• The notice states that the responsibility for this rests entirely with the candidate.
