Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) Recruitment Department has released a notice dated 10/09/2026 for candidates who appeared in the written examination held on 06/09/2026 for four posts: Supervisor (Computer), Junior Pharmacist, Assistant Auditor, and Technical Officer. This notice covers OMR sheet download, the provisional answer key, and the objection (query) process.

Important Dates

How to Download the OMR Sheet

Candidates who appeared in the 06/09/2026 written exam can download their own OMR sheet as follows:

1. Visit the RECRUITMENT section on the Surat Municipal Corporation website.
2. Go to the “ANSWER KEY(S)” link.
3. Enter your application number in the format AAAA/BBBBBB/CCC/DDDDDD (as shown on your exam call letter), your seat number (bench number), and your date of birth.
4. Download and save your OMR sheet on or before 17/09/2026.

The notice clearly states that the OMR sheet cannot be downloaded after 17/09/2026, so candidates should complete this step within the given time.

Provisional Answer Key: How to Raise an Objection

Along with this notice, SMC has published the provisional answer key for the four posts. Candidates who disagree with any answer in the provisional key can raise an objection under the following conditions:

• Objections must be submitted using the prescribed “Query Reporting Form for Provisional Answer Key” format.
• All required details must be filled in exactly as shown in the sample format.
• A certified/self-attested colour scanned copy of valid documentary evidence supporting the objection must be attached.
• Submissions must be sent only by e-mail to [email protected].
• The objection window is 11/09/2026 to 15/09/2026. Objections received after this period will not be considered by the Recruitment Department.
• Only objections relating to the questions in the exam question paper will be accepted. No other type of representation will be entertained.

Important Instructions

• OMR sheets can only be downloaded until 17/09/2026; no downloads are possible after this date.
• Objections/queries on the provisional answer key must reach SMC only through e-mail at [email protected], within 11/09/2026 to 15/09/2026.
• Objections received after the deadline will not be reviewed.
• Only objections against questions in the candidate’s own question paper are valid – any other type of representation will not be accepted.
• Notice is signed by the I/c Administrative Officer (R), Surat Municipal Corporation.
