Post-wise Details

Temporary Assistant Professor (English) (1 post)

Qualification required: Specialization: British and American Literatures / New Literatures in English / ELT & Applied Linguistics / Translation Studies / Marginal Literature / Travel Writing. Pay: Rs. 40,000 per month (consolidated).

Temporary Assistant Professor (Bioscience) (2 posts)

Qualification required: Microbiology (M.Sc, Ph.D./GSET/NET); Botany (M.Sc, Ph.D./GSET/NET). Pay: Rs. 40,000 per month (consolidated).

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Purely temporary contract for 11 months, up to the end of the second term of Academic Year 2026-27, or until a regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier
• Appointment ends automatically at the end of the contract without notice
• Performance reviewed after six months
• Selected candidate signs an agreement on stamp paper of Rs. 300/- at own expense
• Provident fund, gratuity, leave travel concession and medical benefits are not admissible
