Panjab University has notified 1 vacancy for the Project Technical Support-III post on a project-based, temporary, and co-terminus basis under the Department of Biophysics, with an initial one-year appointment extendable up to 2 years. Who Can Apply

Candidates must meet the essential educational qualifications and age limits prescribed for the project post. Other relaxations are applicable as per ICMR and Panjab University norms.

• Essential Qualifications: Three years B.Sc/graduate degree with three years’ experience OR M.Sc./PG degree with a minimum of 55 percent marks in Biophysics/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Allied fields. Candidates with UGC-NET/GATE/other national entrance test conducted by the Government of India will be preferred.
• Desirable Experience: Prior knowledge of molecular modelling, software, biomolecular simulations, various microbiology, biochemical and spectrophotometric assays, cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years. Other relaxations as per ICMR and Panjab University norms are applicable.

Pay and Tenure

The selected candidate will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 28,000 + 5600 (20% HRA). The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the ICMR-sponsored research project, with an initial duration of one year that is extendable up to 2 years based on performance.
