Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Officer in State Government service holding a post of at least Deputy Secretary in Mantralaya, or an equivalent pay scale (S-25), with the same pay band and grade pay

Other conditions:

• Officer must hold the same pay band and grade pay as Deputy Secretary in Mantralaya (S-25).
• Officer must not have been on deputation in the last 3 years; 3 years must have passed since return from the previous deputation.
• Total deputation tenure must not exceed 10 years, including earlier deputations.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Deputation for an initial period of 3 years, extendable as per the Government Resolution.
• Pay and allowances will be paid from the funds of the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board.
