Who Can Apply

The essential qualification for the Junior Research Fellow post is an M.E./M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology, or an M. Candidates should also be interested in pursuing a PhD in the relevant area.

Preferred qualifications and skills

• A valid GATE/NET/any other National examination will be preferred.
• In Vitro Microbiology and Enzymology skills: antifungal assays, cytotoxicity assays, hemolysis assays, and functional assays for mycotoxin degradation, e.g. quantification via HPLC/ELISA.
• Experience in handling animal models for safety, pharmacokinetics and efficacy studies will be preferred.

Pay and Tenure

The fellowship is ₹48,100 per month, inclusive of HRA @30%. The duration is 24 months, and the place of work is BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. The notice also mentions an opportunity to register for a PhD at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus, subject to eligibility.
