CSIR National Environmental Engineering Research Institute has invited applications for the engagement of project staff through a walk-in-interview for the post of Project Associate I (PAT-I) under the project titled “Fly Ash Leachability Studies at Ash Filling sites of Adani Power Limited (APL), Tiroda – (CNP-3008)” tenable at CSIR-NEERI Nagpur. Eligible and interested candidates may attend the walk-in-interview on 16 October 2026 with reporting time from 9:30 am to 11:00 am (gate will be closed by 11:00 am). Selection will be done on the basis of a Walk-in-Interview at CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur.

How to Apply for CSIR NEERI Project Associate I

1. Download and fill out the application form attached to the official notification from the website www.neeri.res.in.
2. Ensure you meet all essential qualifications and possess a declared result (with at least a provisional certificate).
3. Prepare a passport-size photograph, your Aadhaar card, 10th (SSC), 12th (HSC), and Graduate mark sheets and degrees.
4. Keep one set of photocopies and the original certificates ready.
5. Attend the walk-in-interview at CSIR-NEERI, Nehru Marg, Near Ajni Square, Nagpur – 440020 on 16 October 2026.
6. Report between 9:30 am and 11:00 am (note that the gate will be closed by 11:00 am).

CSIR NEERI Project Associate I Important Instructions

• The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project “Fly Ash Leachability Studies at Ash Filling sites of Adani Power Limited (APL), Tiroda – (CNP-3008)”.
• Engagement does not confer any right implicit or explicit for regularization against any CSIR/CSIR-NEERI post.
• The tenure of project staff who have served CSIR-NEERI or any other CSIR laboratories under contract R&D projects cannot exceed six or seven years as per CSIR OM No. 5-1(342)/2017-PD Dated 02.09.2024.
• Candidates must have acquired essential qualifications and results must be declared (at least provisional certificate) before applying; final semester/result-awaited candidates are not allowed.
• No TA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• Selected candidates must make their own accommodation arrangements, though HRA is admissible as per rules.
• Selected candidates must sign an undertaking for maintaining the confidentiality of project findings and intellectual property information.
