About ILBS Project Assistant

The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) in New Delhi is conducting recruitment for a Project Assistant position under the research project “Hospital Based Cancer Registries in India” (HBCRI). Who Can Apply

Candidates must meet the essential eligibility criteria specified by the institute to apply for the Project Assistant position.

• Essential Qualification: Graduate in Science, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Public Health, Zoology, Nursing, Social Work, Hospital Management or any other relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
• Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of use of computer software, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, data collection, documentation, data entry, data cleaning, and data transcription. Preference will be given to candidates with hospital based experience.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit is 40 years as of 03-11-2026.

Pay and Tenure

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 21,000/-. The appointment under the project shall be on a “contract basis” initially for a period of one year, and it is further extendable up to 2 years based on individual performance and availability of funds.

ILBS Project Assistant Job Description

The selected candidate will be required to perform the following duties under the guidance of the Project team:

• To extract and update demographic, clinical, treatment, and follow up details in forms and online software of all cancer patients registered in ILBS.
• To do data analysis, noting, and drafting.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Project team.
