Who Can Apply

Essential Qualifications

Candidates need one of the following qualifications, as printed in the notice:

• B.E/B. Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electronics and related fields with a minimum of 60 % marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university/institution, with two years’ experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or R&D organisations.
• or M.Tech in Power Electronics, Control System, Instrumentation and related field in Electrical Engineering / Electronics with a minimum of 65 % marks or equivalent CGPA from IIT or NIT or recognized university.
• B.E/B. Tech with four years’ experiences or M.Tech with two years’ experience or Doctoral degree in Engineering or Technology in the above mentioned fields can also be considered.

Preference and Desirable

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in regulated DC power supplies, Power Electronics, control-interlock-protection system, Power semiconductor devices and their drive circuits, Transistors & OPAMPs, etc.
• A valid GATE score is desirable for candidates whose only qualification is a B.E/B.Tech.
