RRB ALP CBAT Re-Exam City Slip 2026 Overview

The Railway Recruitment Boards are conducting the CBAT stage for candidates shortlisted through the earlier Computer-Based Tests under CEN 01/2025. The latest update concerns the rescheduled aptitude examination for affected candidates.

RRB ALP CBAT Re-Exam 2026 Important Dates

The Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment under CEN 01/2025 has progressed through CBT-1, CBT-2 and the aptitude-test stage. The latest re-examination date was notified after the CBAT held on 30 October 2026.

RRB ALP CBAT Re-Exam Date 2026 – 12 November

The RRB ALP CBAT re-examination is scheduled for 12 November 2026 in the third shift. The re-examination has been arranged for specified candidates affected by the postponement of their earlier CBAT or by technical problems during the examination conducted on 30 October 2026.

The re-examination is not a fresh aptitude test for every ALP applicant. Only candidates covered by the official rescheduling notice or individually identified for re-examination should follow the revised schedule.

Who Is Eligible for RRB ALP CBAT Re-Exam 2026?

The rescheduled examination notice identifies two broad groups of affected candidates.

1. Candidates from Postponed CBAT Test Centres

Some CBAT examinations were postponed because of unforeseen circumstances at specific test centres. Candidates originally allotted to those affected sessions are covered by the rescheduled examination arrangements.

Candidates should compare the test-centre code on their earlier CBAT e-call letter with the codes identified in the rescheduling notice.

2. Candidates Affected by Technical Problems

Certain candidates who appeared in the CBAT on 30 October 2026 experienced technical problems that affected their test. The Railway Recruitment Boards have released identified the affected candidates after reviewing the examination records.

These candidates are being informed individually through their registered email addresses. Candidates should follow the official communication and the instructions issued for their re-examination.

RRB ALP CBAT Re-Exam Admit Card 2026

The RRB ALP CBAT Re-Exam Admit Card 2026, also called the e-call letter, is separate from the examination city intimation slip.

Under the official ALP recruitment instructions, e-call letters are generally made available approximately four days before the examination date. For the 12 November re-examination, this indicates availability around 8 November 2026, subject to the actual portal activation.

Difference Between RRB ALP City Slip and Admit Card 2026

The RRB ALP city intimation slip and admit card serve different purposes. Candidates should not confuse the availability of their city slip with the release of the complete examination e-call letter.

RRB ALP CBAT Vision Certificate 2026

The RRB ALP recruitment includes important vision-certificate requirements. The rescheduled CBAT notice reportedly distinguishes between candidates whose original examination was postponed and candidates offered another examination opportunity because of technical problems.

Candidates subject to the vision-certificate requirement must use the prescribed format under CEN 01/2025. The certificate should bear the required attestation from an Eye Specialist, including the specified professional identification information.

Important: Candidates must verify the group-specific exemption and certificate instructions from the official re-examination notice. They should not assume that the same rule applies to every candidate appearing on 12 November 2026.

RRB ALP CBAT Re-Exam 2026 – Which Attempt Will Be Considered?

The rescheduled examination guidance reports specific evaluation rules for candidates who are being offered another attempt because of technical problems during the 30 October 2026 test.

For such candidates, appearing in the 12 November re-examination means that the re-examination performance will be considered in place of the earlier attempt. Candidates who choose not to appear may be evaluated using their original 30 October performance, according to the conditions stated in the rescheduling notice.

These provisions are particularly important for candidates eligible for a repeat attempt. They should read the exact official notice before deciding whether to attend.

RRB ALP CBAT SC/ST Travel Authority 2026

Candidates claiming this facility should check their eligibility, download the required travel document and follow the railway booking instructions. The original community certificate and prescribed identity proof may be required during travel verification.

RRB ALP CBAT Re-Exam Day Instructions 2026

Candidates appearing in the rescheduled CBAT should check their e-call letters and the relevant recruitment notice carefully before attending the examination.

• Confirm that you are eligible for the re-examination.
• Check the allotted examination city and date.
• Download the CBAT e-call letter when available.
• Verify the exact examination centre and reporting time.
• Carry the original photo identity document required by RRB.
• Carry the prescribed vision certificate if applicable to your candidate group.
• Keep the required photograph and other documents ready according to the e-call letter.
• Follow the instructions regarding prohibited items and identity verification.
• Report within the time permitted for examination-centre entry.

RRB ALP Selection Process 2026

The Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment under CEN 01/2025 follows multiple examination and verification stages. The latest city-slip announcement relates specifically to the CBAT stage.

The release of the CBAT city intimation slip does not constitute a declaration of aptitude-test results or final selection.
