The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura, manages medical, dental, and allied health educational institutions across the state. Qualification and Experience

Age Limit

The upper age limits on the date of application are:

• Professor: Age should not be more than 55 (fifty-five) years on the date of application.
• Associate Professor: Age should not be more than 50 (fifty) years on the date of application.

Age Relaxation

Nationality and Domicile Conditions

Candidates must be Indian Nationals of state domicile for 02 (two) nos. of post of Professor and 03(three) nos. of post of Associate Professor. However, the pre requisite of state domicile status shall be relaxed in case no suitable candidate of state domicile is available for the said post.

Selection Process

Selection will be done as per 50% from Academic performance index (API) as calculated by the department + 50% from Interview / personality test (Total-100 marks).

1. The prescribed format may be collected from the O/O the Agartala Govt. Dental College, IGM Hospital, Agartala on any working days from 11.00 AM to 4.00 P.M. or the same can be downloaded from the official web sites.
2. Submit application in prescribed format on or before 10th November, 2026 up to 5 p.m. positively.
3. The application should be addressed to the Principal, Agartala Government Dental College & I.G.M Hospital, I.G.M Hospital Complex, Agartala, West Tripura, Pin-799001.
4. Enclose self-attested copies of caste certificate (ST/SC) age proof certificate, PRTC (in case of state domicile BDS & MDS degree certificate, Registration Certificate of Dental Council, other qualification certificate, Experience Certificate (if any) with his/her application & the original certificate must be produced at the time of selection.

• Two copies of all documents and photograph
• CV of the Candidate
• Hand written and self-attested undertaking by the candidate stating as under: “I hereby declare that all the information given / uploaded by me in the application are factually correct and true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
