The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will hold the interview/viva-voce for the post of Research Assistant under the Finance (Budget) Department on 30/10/2026. Candidates must report at 9:00 AM at the APSC office in Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22. This interview relates to Advt. No. 28/2025 dated 30/08/2025. How to Download the APSC Research Assistant Intimation Letter

APSC will not send intimation letters by post. Eligible candidates must download their own letter from the official website once it is uploaded on 26/10/2026.

1. Visit the official APSC website at www.apsc.nic.in.
2. Look for the Research Assistant interview intimation letter link under the latest notices or relevant section after 26/10/2026.
3. Download your own intimation letter.
4. Take a printout and keep it ready for the interview day.

Documents Required for APSC Research Assistant Interview (Originals)

Candidates must bring the following testimonials in original, along with self-attested photocopies arranged in chronological order, for verification and scrutiny on the day of the interview.

1. H.S.L.C. / H.S. Admit Card / Mark Sheet / Pass Certificate as proof of age.
2. H.S.L.C. Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
3. H.S.S.L.C. Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
4. Degree Mark Sheet (all semesters) and Pass Certificate.
5. CGPA Conversion Formula of the respective institute/university.
6. Valid Permanent Resident Certificate / Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
7. State Government employees of Assam must submit a No Objection Certificate from their respective employer, or a Permanent Resident Certificate / Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as domicile proof.
8. Caste / e (if applicable, for BPL candidates).
9. Declaration Form A (may be downloaded from the APSC website).
10. An affidavit addressing and affirming the correct details, if documents have inconsistencies in name, father’s name etc. (if applicable).
11. Any other documents that may be relevant as per the advertisement.

• APSC reserves the right to cancel the candidature if any one of the certificates or documents is not produced in original.
• No intimation letter will be sent separately by post. Download it yourself from the official website.
• Download Declaration Form A from the APSC website (as mentioned in the notification) and carry it with you.
• If your documents show inconsistencies in name or father’s name, carry a supporting affidavit with the correct details.
• Report at the venue by 9:00 AM on 30/10/2026.
