Thrissur District Court has announced a total of 14 temporary vacancies for Computer Assistant / L.D. Typist (7) and Office Attendant (6) posts under advertisement number HC-20/2026. Eligible retired applicants can apply through the prescribed offline process by submitting their applications either directly or by post to the District Judge, District Court Complex, Thrissur before 5:00 PM on 29 October 2026. The notified pay is Rs. 23,360 for Computer Assistant / L.D. Typist and Rs. 20,280 for Office Attendant. The selection process consists of scrutiny of applications and verification of qualifications.

Applications must reach the specified address on or before 29.10.2026 by 5.00 PM. Applications can be submitted in person or sent via post. It is mandatory to include a mobile number in the application.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Eligibility Condition: Applicants must have retired from courts, from departments equivalent to courts, or from posts in other government departments that are equivalent to or higher than the notified posts.

Age Limit: Applicants must not have completed 62 years of age. Employment continues until continuous service reaches 179 days, until the court’s functioning ends, or until the individual appointed turns 62 years of age – whichever comes first.

Selection Process

Selection is based on a priority order determined from the list prepared for each post. The applications of eligible candidates will undergo strict scrutiny of their bio-data, qualifications, experience, and service records. Preference will be given to individuals who retired from courts.
